The attorneys you select as part of your acquisition, sale, development, leasing, or financing team are critical to the success of your real estate investment. Blaivas & Associates is a boutique law firm that focuses solely on real estate law. We provide counsel on complex commercial real estate transactions. While our headquarters is located in New York City, we capably serve clients throughout the United States.
Blaivas & Associates, P.C. was established in 2005 when David Blaivas decided to trade in his career at a large Manhattan law firm and establish a boutique real estate law firm that would provide clients with the level of expertise and personal attention that he felt clients deserved and expected. His vision was to establish a firm with a select group of skilled and experienced real estate attorneys to service a limited roster of clients – clients who want a law firm that not only delivers on their legal needs but also understands and can provide guidance on their business goals as well.
David Blaivas practiced commercial real estate law at various large New York City law firms, including Bryan Cave LLP and Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, before starting his own firm in October 2005.
David's practice focus is strictly commercial real estate, and he has extensive experience in sales and acquisitions, secured financing, ground leases, office and retail leasing and joint venture agreements throughout the United States.
David Rosenbaum's practice focuses on commercial real estate. He regularly advises both private and institutional investors on a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, and leasing transactions, across multiple asset classes, including office buildings, multi-family developments, industrial parks and retail centers. David joined Blaivas & Associates, P.C. in 2019.
David Beiss represents clients in real estate transactions, including purchases and sales, joint ventures, equity financing and debt financing. He also works with both landlords and tenants on commercial leases. Prior to joining Blavais & Associates in 2022, David worked at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel as an associate in their real estate group.
