REPRESENTATIVE TRANSACTIONS

  • General – represented multiple clients in closing approximately $3,000,000,000 in commercial property sales and acquisitions in the last two years.

  • National Retail Portfolio – represented a client in the sale to an institutional investor of a portfolio of 69 retail properties located in more than 12 states (which included single tenant and multi-tenanted properties) for a sales price in excess of $600,000,000.

  • New York – representing a client in connection with the acquisition and financing of a NYC office building under construction by The Related Companies; represented a client in the approximately $130,000,000 refinancing of an approximately 3,000,000 square foot industrial park in upstate New York which included Industrial Development Authority and Qualified Enterprise Zone economic benefits; assisted a client in the recapitalization (through traditional debt and an institutional investor equity) of an office development project in Manhattan.

  • Philadelphia – represented a client in the recapitalization (including institutional equity, preferred equity and traditional financing) of four Class A office buildings representing a total recapitalization in excess of $600,000,000; represented a client in connection with the purchase of an office building in Philadelphia for a purchase price of  $328,000,000; representing a client in connection with the purchase of the retail and garage condominium components in a mixed used building for a purchase price of approximately $75,000,000; represented a client in the purchase of a fifty percent ownership interest in a mixed use (including hotel, office and retail) property having a valuation of approximately $160,000,000.

  • National Multifamily – represented a client in connection with the purchase of a portfolio of multi-family properties in Dallas (which was structured as the purchase of partnership interests) for a purchase price of approximately $200,000,000; represented a client in connection with the purchase of several newly constructed multi-family properties in the Southeast U.S. totaling more than $500,000,000, including the related financing (both Freddie Mac and traditional).

  • NYC Lease – representing a client in the negotiation of an approximately $350,000/RSF lease of an office building having an annual rental in excess $15,000,000.

  • National - represented a client in connection with a sale – leaseback transaction involving a portfolio of Walgreen anchored shopping center throughout the United States having a purchase price in excess of $140,000,000; represented clients in the purchase and financing of Class-A office buildings located in North Carolina, West Virginia, Georgia, Minnesota and Missouri.

  • New Jersey – represented a landlord in the negotiation of an Anthropology Store lease; represented a client in the purchase of a commercial condominium in a shopping center development occupied by BJs.

  • Florida – represented an institutional investor in connection with providing construction financing, with an option to purchase, for a shopping center development anchored by Kohl’s, T.J. Maxx and Publix Supermarkets; represented a purchaser in the purchase and financing of a multi-property portfolio of shopping centers in excess of $50,000,000; represented multiple clients in the purchase and financing of numerous shopping centers throughout Florida.
